The Quality Assurance Management Center was created to provide assistance in the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the ISCOF Quality Management System. The QMC also provides leadership and is responsible in overseeing and managing the achievement of the Quality Policy and Objectives to ensure sustainability of the QMS.

The composition of the ISCOF QMC are as follows:

The Director of Quality Assurance Management (DQAM) also the Quality Management Representative (QMR) is responsible in:

a) planning, directing and coordinating quality assurance programs
b) overseeing the establishment and effective implementation of the Quality Management System.
c) planning and conducting audits, and for reporting results and maintaining records of the internal audit procedure.
d) reporting QMS performance to Top Management for review and continual improvement.
e) acting as liaison to external parties on matters relating to QMS;

The Director of Quality Assurance Management (DQAM) reports directly to

The President on all matters pertaining to accomplishments, issues and concerns on

ISO 9001: 2015 and is assisted by Quality Assurance Representative.

The Quality Assurance Representative (QAR)

  1. assists the QMR in the effective planning, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement for the sustainability of the QMS of his or her College.
  2. supports the QMR in the over all performance of her/his functions.

Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Team

a. implement IQA program in accordance with QMS aligned to ISO 9001:2015.

b. conduct internal audit

c. report findings and results of the IQA during the management reviews

d. maintain record and monitor implementation of corrective actions on non-conformities.

The Iloilo State College of Fisheries is committed to provide advanced education, higher technological, professional instruction and trainings relevant to Regional and National development by satisfying the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. It shall undertake research, extension and production services in support of the development of the Province of Iloilo and of the country in general and provide progressive leadership in all areas of specialization.

The management shall ensure for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction through compliance and maintenance of its quality management system.

QUALITY OBJECTIVES:

  1. Upgrade ISCOF programs for International Quality Recognition
  2. Ensure continuous improvement through compliance and maintenance of quality management system
