Institutional Heads of Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST) represented by the SUC President, Dr. Nordy D. Siason Jr., Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) President, Dr. Bobby D. Gerardo, and Passi City College (PCC) represented by their faculty, Inst. Jay Delideli in behalf of their College President Dr. Janice Jennifer P. Palmares, signed the Memorandum of Agreement for the Panay and Guimaras Cultural Mapping Project in the 4th and 5th Districts of Iloilo. This was also attended by the CMPG Co-Project Head and the Director of the Center for West Visayan Studies at UP Visayas, Prof. Frances Anthea Redison.
This collaborative initiative, took place on May 3, 2024, at the ISUFST Main Campus Poblacion Site Board Room, aims to conserve and commemorate the rich cultural history.
CMPG is a priority project of the Office of Senator Loren Legarda, the principal author of RA 11961 or the Cultural Mapping Law in the Philippines.
