On July 10, 2025, the ISUFST team led by University President Dr. Nordy D. Siason Jr. paid a courtesy visit to Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Dr. Marita R. Canapi, who also serves as Chairperson of the ISUFST Board of Regents.

Dr. Canapi, a distinguished figure in Philippine higher education, warmly welcomed the delegation. With decades of leadership in academic governance, research, and policy, she continues to be a guiding force in shaping institutional excellence. Prior to her appointment as CHED Commissioner, she served as President of the University of Rizal System, and held key academic leadership roles at both the University of Makati and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina.
