
The ISUFST – College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) proudly announces its remarkable performance in the October 2026 Fisheries Professional Licensure Examination held on October 1-2, 2026, administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
The College recorded an impressive overall passing rate of 86.54%, 1 topnotcher and 45 passers, with 91.11% among first takers and 57.14% among retakers, surpassing the national passing percentage of 69.05%.

The ISUFST–College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) continues the tradition of excellence as Brent T. Samontanes ranked 9th in the October 2026 Fisheries Professionals Licensure Examination held on October 1-2, 2026, administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)-Board of Fisheries.
Another remarkable milestone that upholds ISUFST-CFAS’s legacy of producing top-caliber fisheries professionals.
Our deepest appreciation goes to the university administration headed by University President Dr. Nordy D. Siason, Jr., along with the key officials of the institution, the CFAS faculty and staff, with the main supervision of Prof. Rico Ian D. To-ong and his team, and the rest of the volunteer lecturers, for leading the way to make this impressive board result a triumph.
