Isufst Ipmo proudly emerged as “2023 SILVER AWARDEE” during the 2024 ITSO Presidents’ Summit held on March 18, 2024, at Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City. Organized by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, this event aimed to institute a reward system for its academic partners, encouraging them to transition from mere publishing to product creation.
These esteemed accolades were conferred based on various criteria, including the number of IP Foundation courses conducted, patent searches performed, inventions filed, and commercialized IP-protected technologies. The concerted efforts of Dr. Nordy D. Siason (ISUFST President), Dr. Jescel Boglosa Bito-onon (Director of Research and Development), Dr. Sol B. Denamarca (IPMO Director), Dr. Jade Marie D. Dimzon (Innovation and Technology Support Chair), RAISE Western Visayas, alongside technology generators, researchers, faculty, students, and other stakeholders, contributed significantly to Isufst Ipmo‘s success in clinching this prestigious award.
