The RAATI Team, composed of selected personnel of 6RCDG, conducted a Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) to the ROTC Unit of ISUFST-Dingle Campus, April 23, 2024.
The objectives of this RAATI are to measure the degree of administrative efficiency, training, management proficiency, quality of training, and education attained by the Corps and Cadets, to determine the best and poor performing ROTC Units in the region as the basis for awards, recognition, and sanctions, and to determine the extent of support by the school, and to assess the utilization of the ROTC funds.
The event started with a warm welcome for the arrival of RAATI Team CY 2024 with COL. Raul S. Vigo (INF) GSC PA Chairman, together with giving of Lei’s, Foyer Honors to the ROTC Officers and Courtesy Call to OIC-Campus Administrator, Dr. Dingras E. Balbona.
For the inspection and evaluation, a Commandant’s Briefing was held at the AVR Library Knowledge Hub, and it included the Close Order Drill, Military Stakes, and Field Test. ROTC students showed their skills and capabilities in different activities held in different areas: COED Room 1 – Map Reading: Theoretical/Written and Practical Exam, COED Room 2 – Naming of Parts and Disassembling/Assembling of Weapon, COED Room 3 – Knot Tying, Library – Military Science 1 and 2 and PTEA Hall – Basic Life Support: Theoretical and Practical. The movement techniques (SUT) were executed on the parade grounds.
The event ended with an inspirational message from Dr. Dingras E. Balbona, OIC- Campus Administrator, and the University President, Dr. Nordy D. Siason, Jr., CESO VI.
The RAATI was made possible through the efforts of Dr. John D. Catunao, NSTP Coordinator, and Mr. Cedie Toledo, ROTC Unit Corps Commander, Cadets and Cadettes.
