Troops of curious young learners from Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus, Inc. have embarked on an enriching field trip to the Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Museum and the Brackishwater Marine Station of the Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology this Thursday afternoon, January 16, at ISUFST Main Campus-Tiwi Site. Some Grades 4, 5, and 6 pupils, along with the Science Club members and dedicated teachers, experienced firsthand the significance of the fishing industry in our country. By engaging with real-world objects and experiences, their ISUFST visit hopes to foster holistic education that makes learning fun and meaningful. May this adventure boost the young students’ confidence and allow them to step outside their familiar environment, embrace new challenges, and appreciate the science and art of fisheries thru ISUFST.
