ISUFST continues to strengthen its place in the global sustainability landscape, ranking 889th worldwide and 48th in the Philippines in the 2026 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings.

Among the participating universities from Iloilo and Guimaras shown in the comparison, West Visayas State University ranks 513th globally and 18th nationally, followed by ISUFST at 889th globally and 48th nationally , Iloilo Science and Technology University at 1,135th and 69th, University of San Agustin at 1,559th and 107th, and Guimaras State University at 1,849th and 124th.

For ISUFST, the numbers are less about comparison and more about seeing where the University stands, and how much further it can go. They reflect the continuing work of its students, faculty, personnel, partners, and communities toward greener campuses, responsible use of resources, stronger environmental programs, and sustainability that reaches beyond university grounds.

One ranking, but a shared responsibility: to keep learning, improving, and doing our part for a more sustainable future. (PAMMCO | AI)
